What better way to bond with each other than over a joint during lunch break?

“Cannabis is a part of mainstream culture” is what CEO Rosie Mattio stated.  She launched her PR firm Mattio that now represents over sixty very successful companies in the cannabis industry. Rosie Mattio said that she “much prefers as CEO of a company that [her] employees go out after work, smoke some cannabis together as opposed to going out [for] drinks and being hungover the next day, so I think people need to look at this as a different culture now.”

Public relations firm Mattio takes companies and turns them into sustainable, long lasting brands. Mattio is one of the longest running and most trusted PR firms in the cannabis industry. Trisha White is a newly hired junior account executive who is learning how to roll a joint for the first time with help from her colleagues at Mattio.

Mattio says that in an estimated five years from now the cannabis industry will ring in close to $100 billion dollars. There is no other industry that is booming this quickly, and other companies are enlightened by this new culture like Amazon who stated that, “We’ve changed course. We will no longer include marijuana in our comprehensive drug-screening program...and will instead treat it the same as alcohol use.”

These companies are coming to terms with the drastic change in societal views on marijuana and are adapting to it.
