Is New Jersey Next To Ban Marijuana Businesses ?

Many towns in New Jersey are scheduled to decide if cannabis businesses will be allowed to remain open in an upcoming vote.

One of the main arguments that officials have made in favor of removing the cannabis businesses has been the potential negative effects that it can have on children. More specifically, a marijuana dispensary that operates near a school.

Union City Mayor Brian P. Stack has been in support of shutting down local cannabis businesses despite previously voting in favor of marijuana legalization.

The deadline for the decision to ban marijuana operations in New Jersey is on August 21st, and will decide if these marijuana expenditures will continue or be barred for the next five years.
