Azuca is a privately-held, investor-backed company that serves the global cannabis industry ranked as one of the top companies for producing cannabis edibles. With the help of Survey Monkey, Azuca conducted the “Americans and Cannabis Consumption Survey” and received data from 1,089 people to find out a little more about their relationship with cannabis.

So, what do people think of cannabis? 60% of participants would be open to lighting up with grandparents! Nearly a third of participants expressed that it is acceptable to consume infused products while at work, and 70% of Americans know the difference between CBD and THC.

For the half of Americans within the study that have consumed cannabis 28% engage daily, 15% monthly, 18% reported weekly and 39% choose to a few times within a year. The findings state that over half of the participants prefer edibles over vaping or smoking. 54% of respondents said they wished the effects from edibles would kick in sooner and 62% have a preference for edibles that have no cannabis taste within them. Only 22% prefer to use vaporizers, 17% like beverages and 13% utilize topicals.

The survey reveals that the wellness properties of cannabis are widely known and believed in. 58% strongly have faith in cannabis being the future of pain management for those suffering. Participants who are users turn to it for relaxation (64%), increased quality of sleep (43%) and pain relief (40%). 39% use it recreationally. It is used for health and wellness purposes by 37% of consumers.
